GRRL! SUMMARY:
- MAGGIE WEBSTER continues her stellar rookie season in the Am class, nabbing her third podium finish in just five races at Oulton Park. Moving up from the Fiesta Junior Championship, she’s proving that stepping stones work when you’ve got the talent to back it up, qualifying third in Am class and leading the category early in race one before settling into a well-earned podium spot.
- MORGAN KIDD faced a weekend that tested every ounce of her resilience, battling technical gremlins from Friday testing through race day. Despite the setbacks forcing a race one retirement after an off-track excursion, she showed exactly why experience matters by qualifying an impressive seventh overall from the back of the grid and grinding out a tenth-place Pro class finish in race two.
- Both drivers demonstrated the kind of racecraft that separates the real deal from the also-rans – Webster setting personal bests mid-race while defending her position, and Kidd stringing together consecutive fastest laps in the closing stages to capitalize on opportunities. The Anglesey round on June 7th-8th should give both women a chance to build on lessons learned from this challenging but ultimately productive Oulton Park weekend.
