GRRL! SUMMARY:
- MATHILDA PAATZ made an impressive E4 Championship debut at Mugello, claiming the top female finish in both completed races despite a challenging weekend that included a first-lap crash in race one. Racing with her family-owned team supported by AS Motorsport, she showcased remarkable resilience by climbing eight positions in race two to secure 26th place and again finished as the highest female in race three with a solid 20th place result.
- GINEVRA PANZERI delivered a breakthrough performance for AKM Motorsport, securing her maiden Female Trophy victory in race one after an impressive 11-position climb from 32nd to 21st. The Italian driver’s weekend highlighted the competitive depth among the female field, though she faced setbacks in subsequent races including a gravel excursion in race two that dropped her down the order.
- The female competition proved intense throughout the weekend, with F1 Academy regular AURELIA NOBELS consistently battling in the points-paying positions and rookies EMILY COTTY and PAYTON WESTCOTT showing promising pace that matched PAATZ’s times. WESTCOTT’s weekend was unfortunately cut short by contact incidents, but both she and COTTY managed to join PAATZ on the Female Trophy podium in race two, proving the emerging talent pool runs deep.
