GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • MEGAN TOMLINSON and her father Ron delivered an impressive eighth-place finish in their #37 Audi RS 3 LMS, climbing six positions from their 14th starting spot through smart pit strategy and capitalizing on late-race penalties that shuffled the field. The result marks a breakthrough weekend for the Precision Racing LA team at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with TOMLINSON calling it “really exciting” to show their competitiveness at such a historic venue.
  • CHRISTINA LAM secured her second top-ten finish of the season with a tenth-place result in her debut outing with Rockwell Autisport’s #10 Hyundai Elantra N TCR, adapting quickly after previously racing in an Audi. LAM took over driving duties from teammate Eric Rockwell during the race’s middle stint and steadily moved up positions through the chaotic final 20 minutes, proving her versatility across different manufacturers in the highly competitive TCR class.
  • The race turned into a strategic chess match with multiple full-course cautions triggered by debris and contact incidents, including a dramatic sequence where Maddie Aust’s #9 Hyundai was pushed into the gravel. Both women maximized their opportunities during the yellows, with smart pit timing and clean driving allowing them to capitalize when penalties ahead reshuffled the running order in the final sprint to the checkered flag.
