GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • MIKAELA AHLIN-KOTTULINSKY and Team KMS dominated the inaugural FIA Extreme H World Cup Time Trial in Saudi Arabia, topping both morning and afternoon sessions. Despite running deep at Gate 15 during the crucial final run, her partnership with Johan Kristoffersson proved unbeatable, finishing 0.591 seconds ahead of the competition across the combined sessions.
  • The women drivers faced mixed fortunes throughout the field – MOLLY TAYLOR and Jameel Motorsport came tantalizingly close to victory, sitting in prime position before KMS’s final run, while CATIE MUNNINGS saw Team Hansen’s podium hopes derailed by an understeer moment at the challenging Gate 15 section that caught out multiple competitors.
  • Further down the order, we saw the depth of talent with HEDDA HOSÅS finishing fourth for Team EVEN, just under a second off the podium pace. CHRISTINE GZ would’ve topped the morning session with teammate Tommi Hallman if not for a five-second penalty for knocking down a chevron marker, while KLARA ANDERSSON and AMANDA SORENSEN battled through mechanical setbacks that cost valuable time in the standings.

UPCOMING:

  • Friday: Head-to-Head competition on 532-meter course
  • Saturday: Eight-car World Cup Final
