GRRL! SUMMARY:
- MORGAN KIDD delivered exactly what we want to see from a third-year driver – consistency paying off with her career-best fourth place matched at Snetterton. Starting from pole in the final race thanks to a random draw, she held her ground against the Pro class veterans and crossed the line behind the safety car with confidence that suggests podium finishes are coming soon.
- MAGGIE WEBSTER’s debut weekend was the kind of statement that makes you sit up and take notice. Two Am class podiums in her first-ever AIRTEC Fiesta ST240 races, plus consistently fast lap times that had her running with drivers who’ve been in the series for years. Her move up from BRSCC Fiesta Junior looks like perfect timing.
- The racing itself delivered the close-quarters action this series is known for, with both women showing the racecraft and pace that proves they belong in the thick of championship battles. Webster’s ability to overtake multiple drivers while setting fastest Am class times, combined with Kidd’s front-running performance from pole, gives us two legitimate contenders heading into Oulton Park.
UPCOMING:
- AIRTEC Motorsport Fiesta ST240 Championship – Oulton Park International Circuit – May 10th
