• UK TDC Champion NICOLE DROUGHT crosses the Atlantic this week for a proper endurance test – two 8-hour races with HC Autosport’s BMW team at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia. With just a Friday morning shakedown before diving into qualifying, she’s jumping straight into the deep end of American racing with minimal prep time.
• The logistics tell the real story here – DROUGHT lands Thursday evening, gets a brief test Friday morning, then tackles qualifying and race duties across both weekend days. She’ll handle at least three stints per race in 35-degree heat, which means serious physical demands in a 40-car field on the two-mile circuit.
