Three powerhouse athletes crossed sports boundaries when tennis players NASTASJA SCHUNK and MARIELLA THAMM (both Porsche Talent Team members) met up with MICHELLE GATTING, the Danish driver who made WEC history with Iron Dames’ first all-female class win at Bahrain. The unusual meetup at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix proved that elite athletes speak a universal language of determination and skill.

When it came to the driving challenge in a Porsche Macan Turbo, GATTING predictably dominated the course – after all, she’s been wheeling that pink 911 GT3 R across four major endurance series as an official Porsche contracted driver. But the tennis players showed serious potential behind the wheel, earning praise from GATTING who quipped their “foot on the accelerator is definitely stronger than my hand on the racket.”
