This isn’t just nostalgia racing; it’s a chance to see one of the series’ original pioneers back where she belongs.
• The GT3 Revival Series launches with serious credibility, featuring 20 cars across seven brands including championship-winning machinery like the Matech Ford GT that clinched the 2008 FIA GT3 European Championship. While star names like Thierry Neuville grab headlines, the series smartly centers around the actual cars and drivers who built GT3’s legacy rather than just celebrity cameos.
• The inaugural season runs five rounds from Paul Ricard through Barcelona, organized by Peter Auto and SRO using era-specific archives for Balance of Performance. With almost five hours of testing spread across seven sessions, teams get proper track time to dial in these historic machines before the April 11-12 season opener.
