RAHEL FREY Takes P2 in LMGT3 Class at Circuit of The Americas Practice

• RAHEL FREY delivered a standout performance in LMGT3 practice at Circuit of The Americas, clocking the second-fastest time in her No. 85 Iron Dames Porsche 911 GT3 R. Her lap of 2:06.635 came within just 0.090 seconds of class leader Sean Gelael, proving the Iron Dames squad remains a serious threat in the competitive LMGT3 field.
• While the Hypercar class grabbed headlines with BMW’s pace-setting effort, FREY’s near-miss for the practice session win shows we’re in for another fierce LMGT3 battle. The close margins between the top three – McLaren, Porsche, and Ford – suggest Saturday’s qualifying will be anyone’s game in what’s shaping up as a proper three-way manufacturer fight.
• The session wasn’t without drama, ending under red flag conditions when the TF Sport Corvette stopped on track. FREY navigated the interrupted session cleanly while fellow competitors faced spins and mechanical issues, positioning herself and the Iron Dames team well heading into the final practice session Saturday morning.
