GRRL! SUMMARY:
- SABRÉ COOK delivered the perfect finale to a challenging 2025 campaign, scoring back-to-back seventh-place finishes at Circuit of the Americas – her career-best results in Porsche Carrera Cup North America. After technical gremlins robbed her of deserved top-10s at Indianapolis and Road Atlanta, the JDX Racing driver proved her speed was real with this breakthrough weekend that showcased both her pace and racecraft.
- The first race saw COOK climb from ninth on the grid into contention for her first top-5, running strong pace before post-race penalties to rivals Yves Baltas and Tyler Maxson handed her the seventh-place result. Her qualifying performance of ninth overall demonstrated the progress we’ve been waiting to see converted into results all season long.
- Race two proved even more impressive as COOK fought off sustained pressure from Michael McCann in a masterclass of defensive driving. After making early moves to reach seventh, she held her ground through lap after lap of side-by-side racing, executing perfect cut-back maneuvers and strategic positioning that showed serious racecraft development. McCann’s eventual suspension failure vindicated her smart defensive strategy.
