GRRL! SUMMARY:
- SABRÉ COOK’s hot streak continues as she notched her third top-10 finish in just four races, landing P10 in Friday’s opener at Watkins Glen. The JDX Racing driver made crucial early moves, passing Pro-Am leader Alan Metni on lap one to position herself among only Pro class competitors, then capitalized on contact ahead to move into the points-paying positions.
- Saturday’s race two proved COOK’s racecraft under pressure, as she expertly defended against championship leader Riley Dickinson and veteran Michael De Quesada in a chaotic, rain-affected contest. Despite light contact dropping her to P11 on the final lap, she held off Dickinson’s charge to secure another solid points haul and maintain her perfect scoring record at Watkins Glen.
- The weekend showcased COOK’s transformation from early-season struggles to consistent top-tier performance, now regularly battling former race winners in the ultra-competitive Pro class field. With qualifying P12 in Pro class and race pace matching the leading train of drivers, she’s building the momentum needed for a strong second half of the season when the series returns at Road America.
