GRRL! SUMMARY:
- SHEENA MONK is back where she belongs – behind the wheel of an American muscle car. After a partial 2025 season with Triarsi Competizione that ended early (she left before the Glen), Monk has landed with Myers Riley Racing’s new Ford Mustang GT3 program. She’ll be the full-season Bronze driver alongside Felipe Fraga and Ford development driver Jenson Altzman.
- This homecoming means business – Monk is gunning for the Bob Akin Award as the top Bronze driver in GTD. And here’s the kicker: the 2026 Akin Award winner gets an automatic invite to the 2027 Le Mans 24 Hours. We love when there are real stakes that matter, and Le Mans is the ultimate prize that opens doors for any driver’s career.
- The team chemistry looks promising with Fraga bringing seven years of Riley experience and proven speed (he’s a Rolex 24 LMP3 winner), while Altzman impressed in his GT3 debut season with Gradient Racing. Bill Riley clearly gets what he has in this lineup, calling them “formidable” – and when team owners start talking like that, it usually means they’re serious about winning.
UPCOMING:
- IMSA Sanctioned Test at Daytona – Nov 15-17
- 2026 Rolex 24 At Daytona – Fourth driver TBA
