• SUSIE WOLFF is building a comprehensive talent pipeline through F1 Academy’s third season, with all 10 F1 teams now involved and Netflix documentary coming later this year. She’s partnered with Champions of the Future Academy to identify karting talent as young as eight, creating what’s being called the ‘F1 Academy effect’ in junior motorsports participation.
• Last season’s champion ABBI PULLING dominated with nine wins from 14 races and 121-point championship margin, earning a fully-funded GB3 drive with Rodin Motorsport. BIANCA BUSTAMANTE is also moving up to GB3, while 2023 champion MARTA GARCIA now competes in GT racing with Iron Dames, proving the Academy’s advancement pathway works.
• Wolff continues battling for power steering implementation in F2/F3, arguing it’s crucial for female advancement since F1 has it but junior formulas don’t. She estimates women have 30% less muscle mass than men, making the physical challenge unnecessarily difficult when the ultimate goal is F1, which already has power steering assistance.
