GRRL! musings…

We say it all the time: Racing is the most expensive sport on the planet. The demands for funding isĀ  C O N S T A N T, with no let up till you hit the top. Unlike team sports like basketball or soccer, or even solo sports with leagues – golf or tennis – women in motorsports are on their own. If they don’t make it happen, it doesn’t happen. We applaud Toni for brining this up. It’s the reason for GRRL! – to help promote women in motorsports and help raise their visibility with fans AND sponsors.

GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • TONI BREIDINGER perfectly captured what we love about supporting other women when she hyped up basketball star ANGEL REESE and Olympic gymnast SUNI LEE for their Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut. Despite being “bummed” she couldn’t join them this year, the NASCAR Truck Series driver showed pure class in celebrating their moment while staying focused on her own demanding race schedule at Talladega.
  • Here’s the reality check we need more people to understand: BREIDINGER uses her modeling work with major brands like Victoria’s Secret, Gap, and Coach as “side hustles” to fund her racing career. She’s crystal clear about her priorities – “I was definitely a racer before anything” – but she’s smart enough to leverage every opportunity to keep her #5 Toyota Tundra on track with Tricon Garage.
  • While her rookie Truck Series season hasn’t delivered that breakthrough top-10 yet (best finish: 18th at Rockingham), BREIDINGER is building something bigger than just race results. Her partnerships with 818 Tequila and appearances alongside other athletes prove she’s creating a sustainable model for women in motorsports – one that doesn’t apologize for being multifaceted or funding dreams through multiple revenue streams.

UPCOMING:

  • Love’s RV Stop 225 at Talladega Superspeedway
  • NASCAR Truck Series Round of 8 continues
