While the racing delivered solid action with post-race penalties shaking up the results and Paul Morris/Brodie Kostecki claiming second after Josh Webster/George Miedecke’s time penalty, we’re still waiting for series organizers to create pathways that bring women into these grids.
• The 32-lap sprint ran safety car-free with typical V8 drama including Mark Crutcher’s Mustang catching fire in the pits and multiple retirements. Weekend format continues with dual sprint races Sunday morning plus a 45-minute enduro – all broadcast live on Fox Sports and Kayo, giving fans plenty of chances to see what competitive touring car racing looks like when series actually prioritize inclusion.
