  • LELLA LOMBARDI remains only woman to score F1 World Championship points, finishing sixth at 1975 Spanish GP. She contested 10 more races and later dominated endurance racing with class podiums at Le Mans.
  • SUSIE WOLFF broke 22-year drought for women in official F1 sessions, driving Williams in four FP1 appearances. Now F1 ACADEMY Managing Director, she brought all F1 teams’ liveries to the all-female series.
  • KATHERINE LEGGE holds fastest-ever qualifying speed record by a woman at Indianapolis 500 across 2023-24 appearances. The British racer scored IndyCar points after early Minardi F1 test at Vallelunga.
  • MARIA TERESA DE FILIPPIS started three 1958 Grands Prix as first woman F1 competitor. The Italian later befriended five-time champion Juan Manuel Fangio, becoming Vice-President of Former F1 Drivers Club in 1997.
