GRRL! SUMMARY:
- SOFIA ZANFARI broke through for her first Female Trophy win of the season at Magny-Cours, capitalizing on ANNABELLE BRIAN’s post-race penalty to claim victory in Race 1. The Moroccan driver delivered a solid midfield performance that saw her crack the overall top 20 before unfortunate retirements in the following races cut short what could have been an even stronger weekend.
- ANNABELLE BRIAN continues to impress with her recovery drives, consistently gaining double-digit positions from poor qualifying results. Despite starting 29th, she fought her way to 14th in Race 1 before that penalty, then followed up with 17th and 19th place finishes – proving that her race craft is developing faster than her one-lap pace in this rookie single-seater campaign.
- LISA BILLARD bounced back from technical troubles in Race 1 to claim Female Trophy victories in both remaining races, finishing 16th overall in the finale. The Iron Dames driver’s consistency – running in the top 20 during testing and maintaining momentum from her first points at Spa – shows she’s building the foundation for stronger results as the season progresses.
UPCOMING:
- French F4 Championship – Lédenon (September 12-14)
