I never really chose bike racing, it chose me.
Alyssia Whitmore is a British motorcycle racer currently competing in the inaugural FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship (WorldWCR) with Sekhmet Motorcycle Racing Team.
EARLY YEARS
Born on November 3, 2004, Alyssia first experienced motorcycling at age eight, riding a 50cc dirt bike around a field owned by her father’s friend. This early exposure ignited her passion for racing, with her father playing a crucial supportive role in her development. While initially planning a career with the Royal Air Force, she studied Public Service in college in the UK but was unable to pursue this path due to medical reasons, allowing her to focus fully on racing.

In 2019, after participating in the British Talent Cup tryouts at Silverstone, she obtained her ACU license which enabled her to transition to larger motorcycles. Starting with a KTM RC390 and later switching to a Yamaha YZF R3 that better suited her riding style, she competed in various championships including EMRA, NGRRC, and Supermono GB, where she collected several trophies despite facing mechanical challenges.
