about GRRL!

“I didn’t grow up around motorcycles, but I’ve wanted to race the Isle of Man TT ever since I saw videos of it as a kid. But I was born in the 90s when little boys got dirtbikes and little girls played dress up. I wanted to buy a streetbike as my first car but I wasn’t allowed to, so I got a downhill mountain bike instead. I have zero interest in getting attention just for being a female racer. I’m here to race. I’m sharing my authentic journey to the TT and the steps I’m taking to get there in hopes of inspiring other women (and men!) to chase their own impossibles, and hopefully change perceptions so little girls who want motorcycles will be able to get them now.”

Bridgette's bio:

BRIDGETTE LEBER is an American motorcycle racer building a career in international real road racing – on closed course public streets. She competes across Mexico, the UK, and Ireland, taking on some of the fastest and most technically demanding road circuits in the world.

Off the bike, Bridgette holds a degree in Exercise Science and is the founder of ReBel Riders, a company focused on helping motorcycle riders recover from injuries, improve fitness and performance, and stay in the sport longer.

Bridgette’s long-term goal is to race Superbikes at the Isle of Man TT and become one of the few Americans to successfully compete on the world’s most iconic road circuits.

EARLY YEARS

Before she ever threw a leg over a motorcycle, LeBer was sending it down mountains on a bike with pedals. She competed in downhill mountain biking, tackling technical terrain at speed—the kind of riding that requires split-second decisions and zero hesitation. That background gave her something crucial: an understanding of lines, body position, and how to stay calm when things get sketchy. When she eventually switched to motorcycles, she wasn’t starting from scratch. She already knew what it felt like to push limits on two wheels.

OTHER INTERESTS

When not on the roads, Bridgette loves motocross and flat track for both fun and cross training. She also surfs, skateboards, snowboards, and skydives.

EARLY SUCCESS

Bridgette was one of the fastest female downhill mountain bikers in America, with multiple National Championship podiums and Crankworx wins.

NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS

  1. 2021 & 2022: Competed in Royal Enfield Build Train Race program
  2. 2023: Moto America Super Hooligans at COTA
  3. 2024: Fastest Supersport and 3rd fastest overall in the Baja International Tourist Cup – an Isle of Man TT style race in Tecate, MX
  4. 2025: Brought ReBel Riders to hundreds of athletes, moved to Arizona to train at Podium Club, and won some club races
  5. 2026: Traveled overseas and made her Newcomer debut in the Southern 100, Armoy Race of Legends, and Mid Antrim real road races.

INSPIRATIONS

No stranger to the consequences, LeBer has broken 28 bones and had seven surgeries so far. She views it as part of the sport, and looks up to athletes like Marc Marquez, Lindsay Vonn, and Ken Roczen who have displayed similar grit and never quit.

REPUTATION

LeBer’s reputation is built on guts and consistency. She’s not the rider who talks the biggest game or courts the most attention, but she’s the one who shows up, does the work, and keeps improving. People in the paddock know her as someone who transitioned from a completely different discipline and didn’t blink when things got hard. Her mountain biking background gives her a different perspective than riders who grew up on pavement—she’s used to reading terrain, adjusting on the fly, and trusting her instincts when the margin for error is thin. That adaptability has translated well to road racing, where conditions change, bikes behave unpredictably, and you’ve got to make fast calls. She’s built credibility by being consistent and unafraid to take on new challenges, including racing internationally. Those who follow women’s motorcycle road racing recognize her as someone who’s serious about progression. She’s not chasing Instagram fame—she’s chasing lap times.

FUTURE GOALS/PLANS

LeBer is racing a Harley Davidson Pan America that she built for Super Hooligans at COTA, then taking it to Baja for the San Pedro Martir Hill Climb and San Javier Hill Climb – Pikes Peak style real road hill climbs with Baja Tarmac Racing

For summer of 2027 LeBer plans to come back to Ireland to compete in the Southern 100, the King of the Roads series and is hoping to get an entry into the Manx Grand Prix – the stepping stone race to the Isle of Man TT that’s on the same 37 3/4 mile Mountain Course.
