Erika Hoffmann is a trailblazing Canadian motorsports racer who shot to fame by winning the 2022 Formula Woman International Competition, beating nearly 1,000 competitors from 35 countries to become the only North American ever to claim the title.
EARLY YEARS
Unlike many professional racers, Erika didn’t follow the traditional path of starting in go-karting at a young age. The racetrack became her learning ground as she began forging her own unique path in motorsports.

In 2019, Hoffmann was recognized as a rookie by the Ottawa Sports Car Club, marking the beginning of her official racing career. Her natural ability behind the wheel quickly became evident as she adapted to the competitive environment of motorsports. Despite being a relative newcomer to professional racing, she demonstrated remarkable skill and determination that would soon propel her to international recognition.
