Norwegian racer Hedda Hosås made the leap from working as a Nissan dealership mechanic to becoming one of motorsport’s most promising young talents in electric off-road racing. Her meteoric rise through rallycross to Extreme E and McLaren factory driver status proves that sometimes the best stories start in the most unexpected places.
EARLY YEARS
Born in Norway, Hedda is approximately 24 years old as of 2025. Her journey into motorsport began with motocross before transitioning into rallycross, where she competed in both the Norwegian Rallycross Championship and made guest appearances in the Danish Rallycross series. Before committing fully to racing, she worked as a mechanic at a Nissan dealership in Norway, developing the technical knowledge that would later prove invaluable in her racing career.
