  Jamie Hanks-Elliott is a promising British motorcycle racer with a rich family racing legacy, following in the footsteps of her grandmother Rose Hanks, who made history as the first woman to stand on an Isle of Man TT podium in 1968.

  EARLY YEARS

  Born in Erdington, Jamie grew up immersed in motorsports through her racing family. Her parents, Paul and Julie, were sidecar racers, continuing the family tradition established by her grandmother[2][4]. Though initially expected to pursue sidecar racing like her relatives, she developed a passion for solo motorcycle racing from a young age and began competing in club racing with impressive results.

  EARLY SUCCESS

  Jamie quickly made her mark in club racing with multiple wins, which led to her setting sights on the British Superbike Championships. In 2021, she had her first taste of British action at a national level, demonstrating her potential and readiness for higher competition[4]. In 2022, her career took a significant step forward when she joined FHO Racing’s female squad under Team Principal Faye Ho[4].

  NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS

  • 2023: Secured numerous top ten finishes in the British Junior Supersport class[4].
  • 2024: Moved up to compete in the BMW F 900 R Cup, marking progression in her racing career[4].

  REPUTATION

  With her family’s deep roots in motorcycle racing and her own dedication to the sport, Jamie has established herself as a rising talent in British motorsports. Her decision to forge her own path in solo racing rather than following the family tradition of sidecar racing demonstrates her independence and determination.   For the 2025 season, Jamie will join an all-female team in the Pirelli National Sportbike Championship, riding an Aprilia in partnership with 2StrokesRacing[1][2].
