Katia Loggie is a rising Scottish motorsports talent who has quickly made her mark in the Vertu Motors Mini Challenge Trophy, demonstrating remarkable growth from her rookie season to becoming a competitive force in the Cooper class.

EARLY YEARS

Growing up in a Scottish family that later moved to Henley, Katia was immersed in motorsport culture from a young age. Her father’s passion for classic cars and family Formula 1 viewing sessions, where she admired drivers like Sebastian Vettel, sparked her interest in racing. Her journey began when her mother took her to a rental karting facility, where she demonstrated natural talent for understanding racing lines and braking points, eventually leading to her first proper race day at Boyndie Circuit.

EARLY SUCCESS

Katia’s professional racing career launched with Excelr8 Motorsport in the Cooper category of the Vertu Motors Mini Challenge Trophy. At just 17 years old, she showed impressive adaptability during her 2023 rookie season, making her debut at Brands Hatch with three solid finishes around the Indy layout. The second half of her rookie campaign revealed significant improvement, culminating in a standout performance at Brands Hatch in November 2023, where she achieved a top-10 Rookie Class finish and her second-best overall result of 16th place.

NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS

2023: Completed rookie campaign in the Vertu Motors Mini Challenge Trophy with a top-10 Rookie Class finish and 16th place overall at Brands Hatch[1].
2024: Began sophomore season with EXCELR8 Motorsport, recording her best career finish to date at Snetterton[4].
2024: Achieved a strong 16th place result and top-10 Graduate Cup finish at Pembrey[4].

REPUTATION
