Krysten Anderson is the first full-time female driver of Monster Jam’s famous Grave Digger monster truck and a groundbreaking figure in monster truck racing.
EARLY YEARS
Born on May 16, 1997, in Currituck, North Carolina, Krysten grew up immersed in monster truck culture. As the daughter of Dennis Anderson, the creator of Grave Digger, she was exposed to monster trucks from just a few months old. While initially considering a career in graphic design for Monster Jam trucks, she changed course when offered the opportunity to drive for the Grave Digger team, despite her mother Carisa’s initial hopes she would pursue a different path.
EARLY SUCCESS
Anderson began her competitive career in 2017 after Monster Jam approached her father about adding another driver to the Grave Digger team. She quickly made her mark competing in the Monster Jam Triple Threat Series, a 10-city tour testing drivers’ skills with monster trucks, ATVs, and speedsters. Her breakthrough performances included participating in the 2018 Monster Jam World Finals in Las Vegas, where she competed prominently despite initial nerves and setbacks.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
