“A platform that supports female athletes is amazing and something we need more of. I love to see women supporting each other but have a special love for men who stand as allies in helping us succeed.”

Leslie's bio:
Leslie Medina is a Southern California–based motorcycle rider building toward competitive road racing under the banner TWON502, with a 2027 competitive debut in her sights and a growing track presence already underway.
OTHER INTERESTS
Her interests run wider than the track. Her Instagram biography lists guitar riffs and hockey alongside riding and track days, and her feed reflects a genuine appetite for adventure — she has logged multi-state motorcycle road trips spanning Los Angeles, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and Arizona [1], and she documented a camping ride to Big Sur with her riding group @socalwriders [2]. In October 2026 she made a solo trip to Arches National Park and Canyonlands, capturing footage along the way [3]. She describes life on two wheels as something she can’t imagine giving up: ‘Can’t see myself doing anything else now,’ she wrote after a session at Thunderhill Raceway Park [4].
EARLY SUCCESS
Medina’s track career is still in its early formation. She traces her introduction to track riding to the Yamaha Champ Riding School — and described seeing one of their instructors at Thunderhill Raceway Park in October 2026 as ‘a full circle moment,’ noting that she had her ‘first track experience with them and now a track addict working towards amateur racing with @race_cra’ [5]. By late October 2026, she was logging back-to-back track days at Thunderhill Raceway Park through @z2trackdays, riding her Suzuki GSX8R [5]. The progress was tangible enough that an instructor cleared her to move up a level during those sessions. As she put it: ‘I’m competitive and have high expectations for myself. I am working hard to progress but also enjoying the ride/process and fine tuning things. Gotta remind myself that I’m doing well for having just started so it’s okay if I’m not a pro overnight.’ [6]
She has been deliberate about the mindset she brings to the learning curve. ‘No joke, risk of injury. Yeah, but I’ve never been one to quit something I start. I go hard. Grit, resilience…innate need to push myself to the limit…until I am satisfied with what I’ve accomplished,’ she wrote in October 2026. ‘Having started to ride and do track is already something to be proud of but I want more.’ [7] The soundtrack for those sessions, she notes, ranges from hip hop and EDM to death metal [6].
By the end of October 2026 she had two more events remaining in her year, wrapping what had been an intensive period of seat time [8]. Her sponsor Law Tigers — @lawtigers.oc, a motorcycle accident legal services firm she identifies as a sponsor — had been backing her throughout [9].
FUTURE GOALS/PLANS
Medina has announced 2027 as the year she makes the move into competitive motorcycle road racing. In October 2026, she unveiled the TWON502 racing identity — built around race number 502 — and opened conversations with potential founding partners interested in joining her inaugural season. ‘2027 marks the beginning of my journey into competitive motorcycle road racing, and I’ve been working behind the scenes on a concept for bringing my racing identity to life,’ she wrote, adding that she is ‘creating space for those who want to support the journey and grow alongside me.’ [10] She described the effort as ‘Two concepts. One vision. One race number.’ The final livery design, she noted, was staying under wraps [10]. Her stated path to the grid runs through the club racing organization @race_cra [5], and she has been documenting the journey under the hashtag #roadtothegrid [11].
