Leticia Bufoni is a Brazilian-American professional skateboarder who has successfully transitioned into motorsports, competing in the Porsche Cup Brazil and various other racing events while showing remarkable adaptability across different racing disciplines.

EARLY YEARS

Born on April 13, 1993, in São Paulo, Brazil, Leticia was introduced to sports at a young age. Her early exposure to go-karting occurred at a track near her childhood skate park in Brazil, though she initially focused on developing her skateboarding career. At 14, she moved to the United States to pursue professional skateboarding, eventually becoming a six-time X Games gold medalist before turning her attention to motorsports.

EARLY SUCCESS

Leticia made her car racing debut in the Porsche Cup Brazil championship at the Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna in Goiânia, immediately showing potential in challenging weather conditions. Starting eleventh on the grid, she quickly gained positions to finish seventh overall and second in her class during her first race. Despite experiencing contact that caused her car to spin, she managed to cross the finish line fifth in her class, securing a podium position in her debut event.

NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS

  • 2023: Runner-up in the MAO SXS Championship Series’ Women Turbo class at MidAmerica Outdoors.
  • 2023: Won the Stock Production class in the NORRA 500 desert race in a modified Nissan Frontier with partner Chris Forsberg.
  • 2023-24: Finished fifth in points in the full Nitrocross SxS season.
  • 2024: Achieved a personal best P4 finish at Interlagos in Porsche Cup Brasil.

REPUTATION

Bufoni has quickly established herself as a versatile competitor who can adapt her skills from extreme sports to motorsports. During her rookie season in Porsche Cup Brazil, she consistently demonstrated improvement, scoring multiple top-five finishes in the Sprint Trophy class. Her performance at the Interlagos finale, where she showcased smart and mature driving in challenging conditions, has positioned her as a promising talent with the potential to excel across multiple racing disciplines.
