Line's bio:

Line Vieillard is a French motorcycle racer who earned her full-time spot in the 2026 FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship after a solid wildcard performance at her home circuit of Magny-Cours in 2025, where she proved she could run with the world’s best.

EARLY YEARS

Born May 28, 2001, in Clermont-Ferrand, France, Vieillard grew up in the heart of French motorsport country. Before stepping into the WorldWCR paddock, she cut her teeth racing 1000cc machinery in the French Superbike Championship, where she went bar-to-bar with some of the country’s top young talent—including fellow Frenchwoman and 2025 breakout star Lucie Boudesseul. That experience on bigger, more powerful bikes gave her a foundation that would prove invaluable when she made the switch to the Yamaha YZF-R7 platform used in WorldWCR.

OTHER INTERESTS

Information about Vieillard’s interests outside of racing is not currently available.

EARLY SUCCESS

Vieillard’s breakthrough moment came at the French Round of the 2025 WorldWCR season at Circuit Nevers Magny-Cours, September 5-7, 2025. Entered as a wildcard with FT Racing Academy, she made an immediate impression on home soil. In Race One, she finished a strong P9, representing France well alongside Boudesseul and Justine Pedemonte. It was a confident, composed performance that caught the attention of both fans and paddock insiders—the kind of ride that says “I belong here.” That weekend at Magny-Cours wasn’t just a one-off appearance; it was an audition, and she nailed it.

NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS

  • 2025: Competed as a wildcard with FT Racing Academy at Magny-Cours, finishing P9 in Race One[1].
  • 2026: Secured a full-time ride with FT Racing Academy for the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship, racing a Yamaha YZF-R7[2].

INSPIRATIONS

Information about Vieillard’s inspirations is not currently available.

REPUTATION

Vieillard has built a reputation as a solid, dependable rider who doesn’t rattle easily. Her experience on bigger bikes in the French Superbike Championship gave her a technical edge and a racer’s mentality that translates well to the world stage. She’s known for keeping her head down, doing the work, and letting her results speak for themselves—no drama, just racing. Her wildcard performance at Magny-Cours showed she can handle the pressure of competing in front of a home crowd, and her promotion to a full-time seat proves the paddock sees her as more than just a flash in the pan.

FUTURE GOALS/PLANS

For 2026, Vieillard will compete in her first full season of WorldWCR with FT Racing Academy, lining up on a Yamaha YZF-R7 alongside 23 other riders from around the world. The season kicks off March 27-29 at Portimão, Portugal, and will feature six rounds across Europe. This is her chance to prove that her wildcard success wasn’t a fluke—and to establish herself as a consistent competitor in the championship hunt. With a full season under her belt, she’ll have the opportunity to learn the tracks, develop chemistry with her team, and show just how fast she can be when the lights go out.
