Quinn Davis is a teenage stock car racing phenom who’s trading high school hallways for high-speed ovals, competing full-time in the ARCA Menards Series East and making history as part of the first all-female driver lineup in modern motorsports.
EARLY YEARS
Born December 30, 2008, in Tucson, Arizona, Quinn Davis caught the racing bug at three years old.[1] While most toddlers were glued to cartoons, she was pressed against the dashboard of her family’s motorcoach at Phoenix International Raceway, desperate to catch a glimpse of the track before falling asleep.[2] Her father’s NASCAR background didn’t hurt—racing was practically in the family DNA.[3]
Her mother, Christina, tried steering her toward more traditionally “girly” pursuits. “When she was little, we tried the whole gymnastics, dance class, you name it,” Christina recalled. “Racing is the only thing she stuck with.”[4] Turns out tutus and balance beams couldn’t compete with burning rubber and the smell of race fuel. Quinn knew what she wanted, and she wasn’t budging.
The family’s dedication to her dream was absolute. In 2022, they packed up and moved from Arizona to Tennessee so Quinn could pursue better racing opportunities.[5] That’s not a casual relocation—that’s putting your money where your daughter’s throttle foot is.
OTHER INTERESTS
When she’s not on the track, Davis is a typical Gen Z high schooler at White County High School in Sparta, Tennessee—Class of 2027—with some decidedly un-girly interests mixed in with the expected ones.[6] She’s into Formula 1, art, makeup tutorials, and scrolling through her phone like the rest of us. But she’s also taking shop class and learning to weld, because why pay someone else to fix your race car when you can do it yourself?[7]
Her iRacing simulator gets plenty of use, keeping her skills sharp between real-world races.[8] And in a sport not exactly known for its social consciousness, Quinn stands out for her fierce commitment to law enforcement. Coming from a law enforcement family background, she’s passionate about “backing the blue” and has a particular soft spot for K-9 officers.[9] She’s even mentioned wanting to become a K-9 handler herself someday—because apparently racing cars at 150 mph isn’t enough adrenaline.[10]
Oh, and she plays flag football for White County High School as a wide receiver, fullback, and defensive back.[11] Because when you’re already pushing limits on the track, why not do it on the field too?
EARLY SUCCESS
Davis didn’t waste time proving she belonged. She started racing competitively in Arizona, competing in the Bandolero division at Tucson Speedway, where she snagged Rookie of the Year in her debut season.[12] The following year, she moved up to the outlaw division and kept her foot on the gas, literally, competing at Tucson Speedway and the Bullring in Las Vegas.[13]
After the family’s Tennessee move in 2022, she jumped into the ZMax Pro Grand National Series (baby grands) at Highland Rim Speedway in Greenbrier.[14] Here’s where it gets good: her competition was made up entirely of adults—twice her age.[15] She was the youngest competitor in the series, and she didn’t just survive; she dominated. Quinn walked away as Rookie of the Year, points champion, and Southeast regional champion.[16]
In 2023, she kicked off her rookie Pro Late Model season, continuing to compete in the ZMax traveling series.[17] By 2024, at just 15 years old, she became “the winningest female” in her series—a title she mentioned proudly during the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Combine.[18] She’s been racing in the CRA JEGS All-Stars Tour and the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Pro Late Model Challenge, consistently proving she’s not just keeping up with the boys—she’s beating them.[19]
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
- 2022: Rookie of the Year, points champion, and Southeast regional champion in ZMax Pro Grand National Series at Highland Rim Speedway, competing against adults twice her age.[20]
- 2022: Selected to participate in the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Combine at age 15, becoming one of the youngest drivers invited.[21]
- 2024: Became the winningest female in her series at age 15.[22]
- 2025: Competed full-time in the ARCA Menards Series East, finishing 15th in her #31 Toyota Camry for Rise Motorsports in Iowa—her 4th ARCA race of the year at just 16 years old.[23]
- 2026: Announced as part of City Garage Motorsports’ groundbreaking all-female driver lineup alongside Becca Monopoli and Logan Misuraca—the first in modern motorsports history.[24]
INSPIRATIONS
Her father’s NASCAR background lit the initial spark, giving Quinn an insider’s view of what it takes to compete at the highest levels of stock car racing.[25] Those early childhood trips to Phoenix International Raceway weren’t just family outings—they were her racing education, watching the best in the business do what she dreamed of doing herself.
REPUTATION
Davis has built a reputation as a fierce, focused competitor who doesn’t let her age—or her gender—define her limits. She’s known for her relentless work ethic and her refusal to back down from competition twice her age and experience. In a sport where women are still fighting for visibility and respect, Quinn isn’t asking for either—she’s earning them, one race at a time.
Her commitment to community outreach through her “Back the Blue” movement shows she’s thinking beyond the track, using her platform to support causes she believes in.[26] She’s not just fast—she’s thoughtful about the kind of role model she wants to be.
FUTURE GOALS/PLANS
Quinn’s eyes are locked on the NASCAR Cup Series, with aspirations of not just competing but becoming a champion.[27] In 2026, she’ll be making history as part of City Garage Motorsports’ all-female driver lineup alongside Becca Monopoli and Logan Misuraca—a groundbreaking moment that’s already generating serious buzz in the racing world.[28]
She’s continuing her full-time ARCA Menards Series East campaign, racking up experience and proving she belongs at every level.[29] Her goal is clear: leave an indelible mark on the racing community and show the next generation of girls that there’s no such thing as a sport “just for boys.”[30]
