Sara Price
Rally racing // American
If you would’ve asked me five years ago what my dream would’ve been, it would be traveling around the world racing.
Sara Price is a trailblazing American motorsports racer who has made history as the first factory-supported female motocross rider for Kawasaki and the first American woman to win a stage in the prestigious Dakar Rally.
EARLY YEARS
Born on September 2, 1992, Sara was introduced to motorsports at a young age through her family. Following in her brother’s footsteps, she began riding motocross bikes at just eight years old when her parents gave her her first motorcycle for Christmas. Her father’s passion for desert racing ultimately influenced her to explore off-road competition, with her family supporting her competitive spirit from the beginning, allowing her to race against boys in local motocross events before reaching national-level competition.
EARLY SUCCESS
Price’s remarkable talent emerged early as she became the first female factory-supported rider for Kawasaki Motor Corp. in 2010. Her formative career included winning 17 national motocross championships, medaling in the X Games, and earning recognition as the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame Rising Star in 2016. Her versatility shone through as she transitioned to off-road racing, competing in UTVs and Trophy Trucks across multiple series. A defining moment came in 2019 when she became the first woman to win the SCORE International Trophy Truck Spec championship and completed the grueling Baja 1000 solo, navigating over 800 miles in more than 19 hours.
