Sita Vanmeert is a promising 18-year-old Belgian driver who made her car racing debut in 2024, quickly establishing herself with class wins and impressive performances in the Ligier European Series.
EARLY YEARS
Sita began her racing journey in karting after being introduced to the sport by her father, who raced cars recreationally. This early exposure through family played a crucial role in shaping her career path. She progressed significantly in karting, competing in series such as the IAME Euro Series, IAME Benelux, IAME Winter Cup, and the FIA Karting European Championship.
EARLY SUCCESS
In 2024, Vanmeert transitioned from karting to car racing, making her debut in the Ligier European Series with the Les Deux Arbres team. Despite limited track time and a late deal, she immediately impressed at Circuit de Catalunya with class wins and a top-five finish in the JS2 R category.
