EARLY YEARS

Originally from Finland, Sofia made Italy her second home when she moved to Sirmione to pursue her racing dreams. While adapting to a new country, she impressively managed to continue her studies remotely from Helsinki while also attending Italian school, demonstrating exceptional focus and determination from an early age.

In Italy, Sofia joined one of the top karting teams, quickly establishing herself as a formidable competitor. Her natural talent became evident during her first test of the Predator Pc015 formula car, where after just a two-minute briefing from the factory owner, she confidently handled the clutch and delivered impressive lap times at the Varano track. Another notable early achievement came at the Sochi Autodrome where, despite minimal track time and damp conditions, she recorded competitive speeds ranging from 81 to 235 km/h.
