Taia Little is a Canadian flat track racer who claimed the 2025 Royal Enfield BTR (Build. Train. Race.) Championship after a season of razor-close battles and undeniable grit. Racing for only eight years, she’s already making waves in a sport where most competitors have been on two wheels since they could walk.
EARLY YEARS
Little didn’t grow up dreaming of flat track glory—she grew up surrounded by it. With an abundance of flat track riders in her family to lean on for advice, racing was practically woven into her DNA. That deep bench of experience gave her a foundation most riders spend years trying to build on their own. She started racing relatively late compared to many of her competitors, but what she lacked in saddle time, she made up for with family expertise and natural talent.

EARLY SUCCESS
Within her first year of competition, Taia proved she wasn’t just showing up for participation trophies. In 2017, she was crowned the Beginners Champion in the Flat Track Canada series—a title that came with something even better: the Flat Track Canada Rising Star Award. The following year, she moved up to Intermediate and promptly claimed that championship too. By 2022, she was making noise stateside, showing that her skills weren’t confined to Canadian dirt. Then came her historic Expert win at Welland County Speedway in her second season competing at that level—a victory that may very well be the first ever by a female in the Expert class in Canada. It’s the kind of “first” that doesn’t just pad a resume; it rewrites the record books.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
- 2017: Flat Track Canada Beginners Champion[1]
- 2017: Flat Track Canada Rising Star Award[2]
- 2018: Flat Track Canada Intermediate Champion[3]
- 2024: Won both races at Royal Enfield BTR Flat Track Daytona, narrowly defeating Kenzie Luker by just 1.805 seconds on day one[4]
- 2024: Returned to the Royal Enfield BTR program alongside Hannah Lange and Shasta L’Heureux[5]
- 2025: Won the Royal Enfield BTR Flat-Track Championship at Lake Ozark Raceway[6]
- 2025: Competed in head-to-head battle with Madicela Rodriguez at Lake Ozark, finishing just 0.009 seconds behind in the first race of the weekend[7]
INSPIRATIONS
With a family full of flat track racers, Little’s inspirations aren’t abstract—they’re sitting around the dinner table. That kind of mentorship and lived experience shaped not just her skill set, but her understanding of what it takes to compete at the highest levels. She’s learned from those who’ve already navigated the bumps, crashes, and checkered flags.
REPUTATION
Little has built a reputation as a fierce competitor who thrives under pressure. Her battles with Kenzie Luker at Daytona in 2024—decided by less than two seconds—and her near-photo-finish with Madicela Rodriguez in 2025 showcase a racer who doesn’t crack when it counts. She’s known for being consistent, calculated, and capable of holding her own against anyone on the grid. And while she may have come up through the Canadian ranks, her success in American Flat Track’s Royal Enfield program has proven she’s a serious contender on any track, in any country.
