Video Description from YouTube:

Recorded at the G.I.R.L. event in Strijen, Robert Hellings (CEO at ITQ) sits down with Alba Larsen (F1 Academy driver for MP Motorsport, Scuderia Ferrari HP, and founder of Girls International Racing Lab) to open a conversation we are starting at ITQ about who gets access to technical and competitive fields, and who quietly never does.

Four million boys compete in motorsport. 150,000 girls. If the car is the muscle, and physical strength gives no advantage at all, why is the gap that wide? And why does technology, with no physical barrier either, end up with a version of the same problem?

From a borrowed go kart in a locked down Denmark to building a community across six continents at seventeen, this episode is a grounded look at access: what it costs, who pays for it, and why the decision is usually made years before anyone reaches the starting line.

This is the first episode in our Women in Tech series.
Over the coming months we will be speaking with people working on the same question inside and outside our own industry.
