Ahhhh Assen, you will leave a bitter sweet taste in my mouth for a while. My best and highest placing string of results to start the weekend with a 3rd in Free Practice, 4th in Superpole (0.02 seconds from 3rd) and 1st in warm-up… was then followed by a massive crash, being taken out into turn 1.

I felt I had the pace to fight for the podium this weekend, but it simply wasn’t meant to be. We did however have a mega recovery ride to P8 in Race 2 on Sunday!
