We recently welcomed rising racing star Ella Lloyd to the Samco Sport factory in South Wales as part of our new sponsorship partnership ahead of the 2026 season.

In this interview, Ella talks about her journey through motorsport — from starting racing at 16, to finishing vice-champion in the Ginetta GT Championship, and progressing onto the international stage in F1 Academy.

Now a member of the McLaren Driver Development Programme, Ella continues to develop as one of Britain’s most exciting young drivers as she prepares for a huge 2026 campaign.

The partnership with Samco Sport is also a special one locally. Ella is based in Pontypridd, just a few miles from our manufacturing facility, creating a genuine connection between two performance-driven names from South Wales.

During her visit, Ella got to see behind the scenes of how our high-performance silicone hose technology is designed, manufactured and shipped to motorsport teams around the world.

We’re incredibly proud to support Ella as she continues her journey from South Wales to the international stage.
