French driver Lionel Baud and his daughter Lucie Baud claimed overall victory in the six-kilometre prologue, putting their MINI at the top of the classification and giving Baja Greece a perfect family success story.

The battle behind them was incredibly close. Lithuania’s Benediktas Vanagas and Czech driver Karel Trněný secured places among the fastest Ultimate crews, while Oman’s Hamed Al-Wahaibi produced one of the biggest surprises of the day by finishing second overall and winning the Challenger category.

The closest fight came in the SSV class, where only 0.7 seconds separated the top three crews.
