Leah Pruett lined up against rookie Maddi Gordon in the opening round of Top Fuel eliminations, while Matt Hagan faced off in Funny Car competition as both drivers looked to make a strong Sunday run at Sonoma. Despite hard fought efforts from both TSR Nitro teams, the weekend came to a close before the final rounds as Doug Kalitta claimed the Top Fuel victory and Jordan Vandergriff earned the Funny Car win.
