The reigning Women’s World Motocross Champion was saved by a wild first turn crash that forced a red-flag restart in the second WMX moto of the weekend. With the break on the start line, Van Drunen’s crew was able to not only refill an oil leak caused by a missing drain bolt but also fix a malfunctioning hole shot device allowing her to battle back to fourth place which led to a third overall podium spot with a 2-4 result on the day.
