The 1975 Formula One season was the year Niki Lauda and Ferrari returned to the top of the world, ending an 11-year title drought for the Scuderia. It was a season of technical innovation, the rise of iconic legends, and a good dose of chaos and tragedy.
Lauda’s dominance: The Austrian won 5 of the 14 races of the season (Monaco, Belgium, Sweden, France, and the United States).

Emerson Fittipaldi was declared the winner after the race was stopped with a red flag.
Loss of Legends: The sport lost Mark Donohue after an accident during practice in Austria. Later that year, the legendary Graham Hill (the only Triple Crown winner) died in a plane crash along with rising star Tony Brise.
