This is for the entire song but we will make adjustments for the choreography. They will be easier not harder so don’t sweat it. Here are the counts. This song goes in a count of 8. So either you are on the 4 beat or 8 beat. And the counting goes for 4 or 8 of anything, including the carretillas. Remember this is a light footwork dance but it should be clean sounding and consistent. Your facial projection should be serious

1) Start the intro with the right foot forward for 8 intro steps and then every two after that you turn right

2)Then you start with the bruja basic for 16 steps until the music changes.

3) start with right, 4 steps of three basics with 4 ‘remates’. They start on the RIGHT side everytime

4) then you go side-side-heel/toe then other side. You do that 8 times. Entire part ends with foot on the right

5) then the basic bruja step with a back lunge. These alternate and you alternate first on the right

6) 4 ‘remates’ y esto empieza las carretillas

7 there are 8 carretillas. You learned how to count them, remember 🙂 so you do 4 carretillas {starting RIGHT) facing forward then four carretillas while turning to the right. You will barely arrive and that is what the extra four remates starting with the left! You end up starting the carretillas with the left and turn around for 8 counts of carretillas. You end with the last step on the right.

8) then you do a left- right remate and you’re done!

Then… REPEAT!
You can do all this or listen to the song and just play it by ear. I did this all without thinking about it. Most energy spent was balancing 🙂 so try it right meaow!
