This is Vanessa Ruck’s life changing moment, when a car driver ran a red light and hit her on her bicycle.

Vanessa’s life has never been the same.

Seven years of recovery followed, requiring her to face seven surgical procedures, and then she discovered motorcycles.

Now, as well as taking part in extreme races, she visits schools to inspire young girls to take part in different sports.

Vanessa is now on a mission to prove that nothing is impossible if you want it bad enough.
