Acadiana Mazda is hosting Cars & Community, a free event featuring a locally built race car, go-karts, food, and drinks on Saturday, June 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Al Hebert stopped by the dealership to preview the event, which was organized by Camryn Reed, a 20-year-old University of Louisiana junior who built the race car on display. She also leads Reed Motorsports, a local racing operation that includes go-karts and a race team. Where’s Al is brought to you by Bayou Vermilion District.
