Video Description from YouTube:

As with many other competitive sports, and with many areas of society in general, Formula One is and always has been male dominated. The kind of patriarchal attitudes and ideals that prevented many women from racing in the past may not exist today in the same way, but there is still a glaring lack of girls starting karting as children and teenagers, and even fewer that make it to the big leagues. Of the approximately 760 drivers to have entered a Formula One Grand Prix over the past 72 years, just five of them have been women. The casual F1 fan could be forgiven for thinking that no women have ever made the cut, but these five women, plus the many others that have been test drivers, team bosses, engineers, pundits, journalists, and commentators have all been pioneers in their own right and have all broken barriers for women in motorsport. This is their story.
