MAITE CÁCERES started the weekend as the fastest female qualifier in P20 but faced mixed fortunes across both races. The RAFA Racing Club driver gained places to P16 in Race 1, showing she had the speed to battle higher up the order, but was pushed off track by Ethan Tyler in Race 2 while leading the female contingent. ASHLYN SPEED demonstrated impressive resilience on her first VIR visit, recovering from early contact and penalties to finish consistently in the top 25 both races.
