GRRL! SUMMARY:
- YANA LOEMAN and EVELINE MAERS delivered the goods when it mattered, steering their #45 BMW M4 GT4 to a well-earned third place in GT Sport class at the grueling 24 Hours of Zolder. While other teams fell by the wayside during the marathon, these two proved that consistent pace and smart strategy trump flashy qualifying times every time.
- JUNA-JANE DE KEERSMAECKER showed exactly why she belongs in the top class, wheeling her #68 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup to an impressive seventh place overall finish. Starting from eighth on the grid, she and her co-drivers maintained their position through 24 hours of chaos, rain, and multiple safety car periods – a masterclass in endurance racing discipline.
- The weekend wasn’t without heartbreak, as SANDRA VAN DEN SLOOT and CHARLIE MARTIN’s promising #6 BMW E90 suffered an irreparable technical failure after just three hours. Van den Sloot had been showing serious pace, even faster than the class leader at times, making the early retirement all the more frustrating for a team that clearly had podium potential.
- CELINE CONVENTS proved her mettle in the competitive Super Sport class, fighting her way up from the back of the field to secure sixth place in class and 18th overall. Despite starting behind in qualifying, Convents and her team showed the kind of determination that separates weekend warriors from serious racers, steadily climbing positions as others faltered.
