• LAURA HAYES and Allen Patten delivered Thunder Bunny Racing’s breakthrough BMW victory in the Am class at Barber after a season-long switch from Toyota proved its worth. The #606 M4 GT4 EVO finally clicked when it mattered most, capitalizing on the chaos that saw multiple penalty shuffles throughout the weekend.
• The Am class turned into a contact sport with HAYES initially getting tangled up in the penalty mess alongside James Clay’s BimmerWorld entry. After contact with Clay’s #36 car earned her team a penalty in the makeup race, HAYES kept her nose clean in the final race while others stumbled.
