Starting 13th in race one, she expertly navigated a multi-car incident at Maggotts, then systematically picked off positions with well-timed moves to claim eighth. Her ability to avoid trouble while others crashed around her shows the kind of racing intelligence that separates future stars from the field.
• Race two showcased SUTTON’s aggressive side as she climbed from eighth to fourth position through a series of bold overtakes, including an outstanding move around the outside at Brooklands and a three-wide maneuver that had us holding our breath. Her partnership with teammate Aaron Beattie to use slipstream tactics demonstrated tactical awareness beyond her years, even if she ultimately settled back to eighth when the pack caught up in the closing laps.
• The weekend’s dramatic conclusion saw SUTTON walking away unharmed from a high-speed rollover at Copse corner during race three – a sobering reminder of the risks these drivers face while chasing every position.
