GRRL! SUMMARY:
- LILOU WADOUX delivered a masterclass in wet-weather driving to secure her second ELMS victory of 2025 at Silverstone, becoming the first driver to win twice in LMGT3 this season. After the Richard Mille AF Corse team made the crucial call to switch to rain tires as conditions deteriorated, Wadoux took the lead and managed both challenging weather and prototype traffic to bring home the victory when the race was red-flagged with 17 minutes remaining.
- The win was particularly impressive given the team’s rocky start – they dropped nearly a full lap down after an early unscheduled pit stop following contact. But strategic pit stops, strong drives from teammates Custodio Toledo and Riccardo Agostini, and WADOUX’s rain mastery turned disaster into triumph. She was also awarded the Wingfoot Award for most valuable LMGT3 driver, recognition well-earned after her clutch performance under pressure.
- This victory puts WADOUX and her teammates in the championship driver’s seat with 66 points and a 12-point lead heading into the season finale at Portimão. It’s the kind of result that separates contenders from champions – when the conditions got treacherous and the stakes were highest, she stepped up and delivered exactly what her team needed to control their own destiny in the title fight.
