GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • LYDIA WALMSLEY capped off her rookie Porsche Sprint Challenge campaign in style, claiming her fourth victory of the season at Brands Hatch to secure the CS Pro class runner-up spot. The Graves Motorsport driver showed remarkable consistency throughout the weekend, finishing second in races one and two before delivering a controlled drive to victory in the season finale – proving that sometimes the best revenge is simply being undeniably fast.
  • Despite challenging wet conditions throughout practice and qualifying, WALMSLEY demonstrated the racecraft that’s made her a standout rookie, consistently finding speed in changeable conditions while achieving podium finishes in all but one race this season. Her ability to navigate traffic from CS Am class drivers like Charlie Tuthill and HANNAH CHAPMAN while keeping pace with CS Pro leader Jonathan Moore showed the tactical awareness that separates good drivers from championship contenders.
  • The final race perfectly showcased WALMSLEY’s growth throughout her rookie campaign – an excellent start saw her immediately claim the lead from Moore, and when safety car periods and competitor retirements could have disrupted her rhythm, she maintained focus to build a commanding two-second gap over the field. Her lap-time consistency was remarkable, with all but her final lap within a second of her best time, proving she’s mastered the art of managing a race from the front.
