GRRL! SUMMARY:
- CÉLIA MARTIN and LINDSAY BREWER qualified fifth in ProAm at Nürburgring but technical gremlins struck again. BREWER briefly ran second in class before a 60-second pit stop dropped them back, forcing retirement when the car became undriveable.
- Sunday’s race showed genuine pace as MARTIN avoided opening-lap chaos to run third in ProAm. She defended against charging BMWs before technical issues struck again during the pit cycle, dropping the #40 Ford GT a lap down.
- BREWER’s post-pit struggles included another stop for mechanical work, then a safety car intervention. Despite a pit lane speeding penalty, she posted competitive sector times while the team used remaining laps for diagnostic testing and data gathering.
- The all-female pairing’s debut GT3 Revival season has been plagued by reliability issues after promising fifth-place finish at Paul Ricard opener. Previous rounds at Spa-Francorchamps and Le Mans Classic also ended in disappointment despite showing strong underlying pace.
UPCOMING:
- GT3 Revival Series season finale at Barcelona
